Each Spring, we select two focus areas for the following year.  Our focus areas and grants are directed at a variety of target populations and cover many sectors including youth, families, seniors, education, basic needs, justice reform, health & wellness, workforce development, the environment, the arts, and homelessness. We provide emergency grants when a need is identified. 

Each Fall, members nominate nonprofits for consideration in the focus areas. Members review and discuss the nominations and conduct site visits to determine which will be awarded grants. Our work ends with a full membership vote in March. Grants are made soon after, and the awarded nonprofits become our ALLINBKLYN partners. In May, we hold an event to celebrate our new and returning partners.
