Eliza Winans Rossman founded ALLINBKLYN, a women’s philanthropic initiative, in 2014.  In its first year of grant making, forty-one women formed a grant making community which benefits from a level of impact that most individual donors can’t achieve on their own. From January through May, ALLINBKLYN members met and shared information about various Brooklyn nonprofits seeking financial support and in its first year made grants totaling $201,000 to 13 nonprofits benefiting the people and places of Brooklyn.

Now, having completed its fourth year of grantmaking as of April 2018, ALLINBKLYN's community of sixty women, along with a growing number of supporters, has made sixty-one grants, some of which were multi-year, to thirty-five Brooklyn nonprofits totaling nearly 1M.
